  • Provides financial support for snack and meal programs in schools
  • Provides information on applying for funding
  • Coordinates distribution of funds from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and the National School Food Program to local snack and meal programs
  • Participates in regional partnerships and fund-raising efforts
  • Supplies local programs with resources including nutritional information, meal and snack menus
