Service Description: Program matching Youth Peer Support Workers with lived experience of homelessness, substance use , mental health, and recovery to other youth currently facing these challenges.

The program aims to:
  • address youth mental health
  • build on existing networks of care
  • improve wellness through social connection and building relationships
  • create employment opportunities for youth with experience of homelessness and/or addiction
  • teach peer support and personal wellness skills to local youth
  • get youth involved in their own mental health care
  • value lived experience
