Service Description: Support to registered clients

Counselling - Mental Health Counsellors offer counseling to registered clients, to deal with:
  • mental health conditions
  • relationship issues
  • problem with substance use
  • depression
  • grief and trauma
  • other personal issues
Registered clients can access counselling on a one on one basis. Peer support available in group settings

Client Support and Referral - The Community Educators support clients with:
  • financial problems
  • inability to acquire adequate food
  • need to acquire improve education
  • housing issues
  • child custody proceedings/child welfare agency issues
  • assistance with forms/paperwork
  • transportation
  • employment/unemployment problems
  • difficulties with government disability/support benefits
  • settlement issues
Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
