The care providers at the Breast Health Centre include a multidisciplinary care team of mammography technologists, radiologists, ultrasound technologists, surgeons, and a patient navigator, who coordinate additional testing throughout the diagnostic journey. Our Services:
Mammography-A mammogram is a special type of x-ray performed of the breast. Windsor Regional Hospital operates three mammography units that are all accredited by the Canadian Association of Radiologists under a strict quality inspection program. The service is also associated with the Ontario Breast Screening Program. All mammography staff are certified under the Ontario College of Medical Radiation Technologists. |
