Prenatal counselling to pregnant mothers and partners regarding complications of pregnancy and impact to the fetus, carried out in conjunction with the perinatal and obstetrical teams to enable informed decision making regarding medical management of maternal and fetal care in pregnancy * prenatal consults may be requested by perinatal, obstetrical and primary care obstetrical physicians * service is provided to enhance multidisciplinary care for individuals needing complex medical care in pregnancy Conditions treated:
Services offered: This clinic provides care for maternal autoimmune disorders, maternal medications (i.e. narcotics, antidepressants, antipsychotics and other illicit drugs use), maternal infections, maternal isoimmunization to blood group antigens, fetal congenital anomalies, genetic abnormalities and severe intrauterine growth restrictions (IUGR) |
