Service Description: The Counselling and Psychotherapy Center offers
  • Individual Counselling (16 years or older)
  • Couple Counselling
  • Family counselling (with children 12 years or older)

All services are offered
  • In person
  • Online
  • Over the phone

Common issues include but are not limited to:

Individual therapy
  • Anxiety (stress management, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety),
  • Mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder),
  • Life transitions (grief/bereavement, separation/divorce, retirement),
  • Difficulties with communication and assertiveness,
  • Personality disorders,
  • Trauma (PTSD),
  • Integration of spirituality and values
Couples and family therapy
  • Communication issues (arguments),
  • Intimacy or sexual issues,
  • Infertility,
  • Infidelity and trust,
  • Parenting issues,
  • Other disruptions to the family unit (illness of a child, blending of families, etc.),

All services are offered by counselling interns who are studying at the Master or Doctorate level * all interns are supervised by licensed and experienced professionals * sliding scale for those who qualify * services offered in English and French
Fees: 80$ / hour * sliding scale (10$ - 80$) available for clients who qualify

About Us

The Counselling and Psychotherapy Center offers individual, couple and family therapy in French or in English to people in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Services are provided by counselling interns at reduced cost. Call us for more details.
