Service Description:	Companionship, respite care, and emotional support Residents: physical, emotional and spiritual support focus on pain and symptom management Home Support Program: initial visit by a community nurse for assessment and referral volunteer visiting for companionship and practical support respite for families up to four hours per week telephone support caregiver support Day Hospice Program: weekly social interaction with peers variety of activities including art, cards, board games, music emotional support respite for caregivers weekly nurse assessments and communication with physicians as needed Bereavement Support: Support through the grieving process by staff and trained volunteers
