Service Description: Suicide Loss Grief Support provided by staff and trained peer supporters for children, youth, and adults across Ontario * does not provide crisis counselling

  • 12-week psychoeducational Suicide Loss Closed Support Groups * groups offered in-person and virtually
  • Suicide Loss Open Group: multiple weekly drop-in grief groups offered virtually 
  • one-on-one grief counselling with professional staff and peer support with trained volunteers 
  • specialized trauma counselling 
  • Wellness Activities offered virtually
  • consultations and resources provided to families
  • community education and training for professionals and volunteers about suicide loss and traumatic loss
 
HOPELINE Offers suicide loss information, guidance, and support * Suicide Loss Bereavement Care Specialists provide support, respond to questions about suicide loss grief, provide information about supportive services, how to help grieving children, teens, or adult family members and friends, or suggest other community support services * virtual and in-person groups and events are also available, check website for information
