Service Description: Volunteer medical clinic that:
  • serves people without OHIP such as refugees, new immigrants who are medically uninsured
  • specifically address issues often left unattended in the community such as mental health, women's health
  • cannot provide or cover all types of care
  • while focusing on non-emergency care, patients needing critical attention are directed to local hospitals
  • care is free but any donation is accepted
  • patients are responsible for their own blood work
  • refugees have to bring refugee papers to the appointment along with a list of all pills and any medical records
  • call first and leave a voicemail to book an appointment
  • clinic is doing telephone consultation only
  • do not treat patients with OHIP coverage and medical emergencies and absolutely no walk-ins
