Service Description:	Provides an alternative to the court process for youth with mental health issues and deemed appropriate for court diversion Provides consultations to the Crown Attorney and develops service care plans Assists youth to access mental health services and community supports including mental health and addiction services NOTE: Crown may withdraw charges after youth's completion of mental health diversion program

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:	Youth 12-17 years of age Evidence of a mental illness or is suspected of having mental health issues, traumatic brain injury, or developmental issues Youth's mental health issue must be able to be effectively managed with the community Youth has been charged with a Class 1 or less serious Class II type of offence OR Is on current probation and receives a new divertible charge
