Share The Care™ Getting Started

The Process:
As the the book Share The Care™ emphasizes, "you don't need to be a nurse, therapist or specialist" to form, lead or be a part of a care team. Written by Cappy Caposella and Sheila Warnock, the book outlines the Share The Care™ process in detail and the authors have kindly provided excerpts to help you get started. You can also inquire with the Share The Care™ station in your area to see about the possibility of borrowing one of their copies.

Forms to Help Your Care Group:
If you're starting a care team or are part of an already organized group, you may want to use the different forms that have been designed to help your group function and communicate with ease.

Here in the South West, we have developed an information sheet to help you start a care team. Additional forms are available for download at sharethecare.org. In order to access the forms, you'll first be asked to register with the U.S. website. The forms are also included in the book Share The Care™ (Caposella, Warnock) and can be ordered online from booksellers such as Amazon and Chapters.
