Make way for more happiness
January 23, 2012, 1:12 PM
I did it. I signed up for
The 2012 Happiness Challenge
. The exercise is the brainchild of Gretchen Rubin, the author of the New York Times Bestseller,
“The Happiness Project.”
Here's what happens: You sign up using your email address and each week you receive a video where Rubin discusses “how to tackle a ‘Pigeon of Discontent’ – those ordinary, nagging problems that settle in to roost.”
I love her term “Pigeon of Discontent” – it’s perfect. It’s already made me feel happier. I also feel happier because I’ve acquired pigeons. I’ve never had any but now that I do it’s made the discontent visual for me.
So how about it caregiver – you ready to wrAAstle with them there pigeons? They’re tenacious and given half a chance they’ll take up permanent residency. Here’s your chance to get them to move along.
