New developments in Alzheimer's


There have been some new developments in Alzheimer's research and how the memory impairing condition is diagnosed. I thought it might be helpful to highlight some of the reports, just in case you missed them:


I also wanted to draw your attention to a story about the difference that adult day programs can make, in both the lives of seniors and caregivers. In London, Alzheimer Outreach Services of McCormick Home runs the largest adult day program in the province for those living with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. It’s held in a beautiful new facility. Participants dance, sing, bake, play games and socialize while their caregivers get a much needed break. Here’s what’s available across the South West region. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some time to yourself?
