Acknowledgement may spell progress
A new report by the Canadian Index of Wellbeing (I didn't know that we had something like this) indicates that adults are feeling pressed for time. It also found that more Canadians, particularly women, are caring for seniors. So, although we may not be making great strides in dealing with the demands of our work and home life, I think there is promise in the fact that this report captures the efforts of caregivers. The more light we can shed on the role that caregivers play in our society, the better.  Acknowledgement is progress. As the Canadian Caregiver Coalition states, "It's not if...it's when you will be a caregiver."
