Autistic teen to other parents: keep going

If she didn’t tell you in the interview that she was autistic, you would never know it. Taylor Morris is an articulate, active 17-year-old. She’s sharing her story through social media to be a source of hope to parents raising a child with an autism spectrum disorder. She speaks candidly about her earliest memories and what she likes about being autistic.

Today, autism is considered to be the most common neurological disorder and the most common disability affecting children in Canada. Caring for an autistic child can be all consuming and early intervention is really important.

On those days when it all seems impossible, perhaps this interview with Taylor will help you keep moving forward. We all need hope. Hope helps.
