Sheehy's Passage in Caregiving
Even if you’re not an avid reader, you may have heard about well-known author Gail Sheehy’s latest book, Passages in Caregiving: Turning Chaos into Confidence.  It’s receiving really strong reviews. It’s the story of Sheehy’s journey as a caregiver to her husband who lived with cancer for seventeen years before his death in 2008. In the book, Sheehy breaks caregiving down into eight stages. She interviewed other caregivers for the book and suggests that there are ways to thrive in the role. AOL Health published this interview with Sheehy earlier this month. And they also offer an excerpt of her book. It's definitely worth a look.
